The benefits

Why we love cinnamon bark

Bakery-window warmth

True cinnamon brings a soft, sweet spice that makes any blend smell like something good is in the oven.

Sweet without sugar

Its natural sweetness rounds out black tea, rooibos and fruit blends with no added sugar.

The gentler cinnamon

True Ceylon cinnamon is softer in flavour than everyday cassia, and naturally far lower in coumarin.

Good to know

  • Sweet cravings
  • Winter wellness
  • Weight management
  • Body comfort

No special cautions for most people in normal tea amounts.

True cinnamon is the inner bark of a tree native to Sri Lanka. Peelers shave thin bark from young shoots, and it curls into nested quills as it dries. Arab traders once guarded its source with tales of giant birds that built their nests from cinnamon sticks, and the spice drew merchants to the island for centuries.
