Rose petals
Rosa centifolia
Crinkled petals of the cabbage rose in raspberry, blush pink and cream. They lend a blend soft, perfumed sweetness and a flourish of colour in the jar.

Why we love rose petals
Perfume in a cup
A few petals give a blend a soft, sweet fragrance, like walking past a rose garden after rain.
Colour in the jar
Raspberry, blush and cream petals make a blend as lovely to look at as it is to sip.
Naturally caffeine-free
Rose contains no caffeine and pairs as well with black tea as it does with chamomile.
Good to know
No special cautions for most people in normal tea amounts.
The cabbage rose, Rosa centifolia, is the 'hundred-petalled rose' of Dutch still-life paintings and the perfume fields around Grasse in southern France. Across Persia, Turkey and India, rose petals have flavoured sweets, syrups and rosewater for centuries, and rose-scented tea has long been poured for honoured guests.
